1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing the DocketGate website or using our services, you agree to these terms. Use of the DocketGate application by subscribing firms is additionally governed by a separate service agreement.

2. The service

DocketGate provides case management software for law firms, including matter management, intake, trust accounting, document management, deadline tracking, and client portal features.

3. Not legal advice

DocketGate is a software tool. Nothing on this website or in the application constitutes legal advice, and use of the software does not create an attorney–client relationship with us. Subscribing firms remain solely responsible for their professional obligations, including compliance with applicable bar rules governing trust accounting, deadlines, and client communication.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access data belonging to other firms.

5. Data ownership

Subscribing firms retain all rights to the data they enter into the application. We claim no ownership over firm or client data.

6. Fees

Subscription fees are billed per active staff user as described on our pricing page or in the applicable service agreement. Fees are subject to change with notice.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or service.

8. Termination

Subscribing firms may cancel monthly plans at any time. Upon termination, we provide a reasonable opportunity to export firm data.

9. Changes

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
